Terry Fox Run

We had a full, fun-filled day today at school! We learned all about Terry Fox and his Marathon of Hope before heading outside to run around the school yard in his honour.
 

Guinea Pigs and Paint

Today we finally got to go into the Piggy Pen and hold the guinea pigs. We had calm bodies and voices so that we didn't scare Rose and Violette.

 
We also did our self-portraits for September. It’s neat to see how the kids’ drawings of themselves change from month to month.

Colour Days

Our colour days have been such a success. We sing songs about the colours every day and are starting to remember their names in French.  We've played colour games, eaten colourful snacks, and spent more time getting to know each other.
